USC Upstate Welcomes South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association’s 2017 High School Festival to Campus March 18

More than 400 students from high schools in South Carolina will compete in various awards categories at the South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association (SCSTA) 2016 High School Festival to be held at the University of South Carolina Upstate on March 18.

The competition consists of 14 events, such as audition monologue, duet acting, design, impromptu speaking, oral dramatic monologues, storytelling and television broadcasting.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the opening rounds of competition beginning at 10:30 a.m.
