A Spartanburg native, Irwin is a Washington Post columnist and the economics editor of Wonkblog, The Post’s site for policy news and analysis. He is the author of “The Alchemists: Three Central Bankers and a World on Fire” a book about the efforts of the world’s central banks to combat the financial crisis and its aftermath.

100 Years of Broadway
Join the University Singers and Chamber Choir this Thursday, April 18 for a performance called “100 Years of Broadway.” This free program includes the Schubert Mass in G, as well as a set of Cole Porter songs. The main part of the program is an extended medley of 100 Years of Broadway, with a live band.
