Thanks to your support,  the USC Upstate Alumni Golf Tournament was a great success! Leah Anderson, director of Alumni Relations, says that after expenses, nearly $3,000 went directly towards USC Upstate’s scholarship program which will greatly impact the lives of USC Upstate students.
“A special thanks also goes out to all of our golf teams, hole sponsors, volunteers, board members and to Todd Lawton, Shane Rogers and David Lancaster; thank you all very much! I couldn’t have done it without you!” says Anderson.
The Marriott placed first with a score of 51. Their team included: Dan Freeland, Chris Giardina, Darrell Nasser and Erin Wells.  Three teams shot a 52 and tied for second place. These teams included: Shane Rogers, Jeffrey Lehrer, Daniel Carver and Wright Caines; David Lancaster, Rocky Howard, Michael King and Tony Allison; and from Piedmont Natural Gas – John Bishop, Rick Carter, Jason Hill and Terry Marcum. Third place shot a 53 and included: Todd Lawton, Eric English, Scott Larson and Sandy Sandago. Longest drive was awarded to Michael King.  Daniel Carver and Michael Lawrence won Closest to the Pin.
