To celebrate Patricia Moore-Pastides’ new cookbook GREEK REVIVAL: COOKING FOR LIFE, the Hub City Bookshop is hosting a lunch with the author, featuring dishes made by you! Here’s more:

On Feb. 17, make a recipe from the book and bring it to lunch at the Bookshop. If you would like to make a dish, please contact Erin Haire at before Feb. 17 to get a recipe.

With Greek Revival: Cooking for Life, the University of South Carolina’s First Lady, Moore-Pastides, presents dozens of easy-to-make and impossible-to-resist recipes that infuse a healthful Mediterranean diet with the enticement of great taste.

Greek Revival showcases a pantheon of healthy recipes accompanied by beautiful color illustrations. Throughout the book, Moore-Pastides shares lively stories of her days living in Greece and Cyprus that exemplify the enduring charm of an Old World Lifestyle.

Pastides is an accomplished cook and writer. She earned a master’s in public health at Yale University, and worked for years in the field of public health.
