October 20, 2011 at 2:41 pm

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a significant component of our Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) reaccreditation process.  A QEP, as defined by SACS, is “a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined topic or issue related to enhancing student learning.”  Our QEP provides us the opportunity to develop an active and targeted five-year plan to improve a certain aspect of the education of USC Upstate students.
Our plan focuses on how to prepare students for a future with technology. A detailed description of the plan can be found on the QEP web page under “QEP Topic (Full Document).”

The next stage in the process is to engage the entire USC Upstate community in the naming of this plan through a contest. All current USC Upstate students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the submission of plan name  suggestions.
