Celebrate National Foreign Language Week With Jorge Zeballos, March 14

The Division of Student Affairs and Nu Iota Chapter of Alpha Mu Gamma National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society proudly present the National Foreign Language Week featured speaker, Jorge Zeballos on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Campus Life Center Ballroom.

Jorge Zeballos was born in Washington, D.C., but grew up in Lima, Peru. He holds a B.A. degree in political science from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in organizational management and development from the Fielding Graduate University. He currently resides in High Point, N.C., and is a community organizer at the Institute for Dismantling Racism in Winston-Salem, as well as the Latino Community Coordinator and International Student Advisor at Guilford College in Greensboro. Mr. Zeballos is also an independent diversity consultant with years of expertise conducting workshops, presentations and leading long-term diversity initiatives at K-12, colleges and universities, international and national conferences, and non-profit organizations.
