USC Upstate Nursing Students To Lead Teen Health Expo, Oct. 6

On Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Center of Greenville, USC Upstate’s graduating nursing students, together with the YWCA, will lead a teen health expo. They will present information on:

  • Education Matters
  • How to beat bullying
  • Healthy relationships
  • Prevention of STDs and pregnancy

There will be free food, a $50 gift card to be given away during the parents’ session, lots of teen health information, health screenings and University Center tours. Other community resources will also be present including 3D Fitness – Teen Kickboxing, Phoenix Center – Drug & Alcohol Prevention, the YW Teens Program and gang intervention.
