Business students to enjoy breakfast with corporate mentors

On Friday, March 22, 2013 Advance America will be hosting a “mentoring breakfast” for 40 business majors at the University of South Carolina Upstate’s George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics. The event will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Cobb Grand Hall and dress is business professional.

This round table, small group interaction will allow senior management professionals from Advance America to share tips with students on how to interview successfully, how to dress for success and other tips for landing their first position on their career path.

Participating from the company will be Patrick O’Shaughnessy, President and Chief Executive Officer; Jim Ovenden, Chief Financial Officer; Ladson Belcher, SVP Operations; Jamie Fulmer, SVP External Affairs; Trudy Boyles, Chief Marketing Officer; George King, VP Human Resources; Shay Hurst, VP Talent Management; Tim Boyd, VP Accounting and Finance; Christian Rudolph, VP Treasurer.
