Spartans Look to Extend Win Streak Saturday Against Lipscomb

The USC Upstate men’s basketball team looks for its second straight Atlantic Sun victory when it welcomes Lipscomb to the Hodge Center 4 p.m. Saturday.

Upstate improved to 4-1 at home this season following its 73-64 win over Northern Kentucky Thursday night. Five Spartans scored in double figures led by the double-doubles of Ricardo Glenn and Torrey Craig. Glenn finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds and enters Saturday needing just 10 points to amass 1,000 for his career. Craig tallied 11 points and 12 rebounds and now leads the conference with 7.3 rebounds per game.

USC Upstate and Lipscomb will be meeting on the hardwood for the 13th time when the two teams tipoff Saturday afternoon. The all-time series between USC Upstate and Lipscomb, which dates back to the 2007-08 season, is tied 6-6.
