In the aftermath of the freak tower accident and collapse at the ESPN Spartanburg studios which knocked the station off the air, USC Upstate Athletics announces it has reached an agreement to air its men’s basketball games on WORD AM 950/1330 for the remainder of the season or until ESPN Spartanburg restores its functionality.

Tonight’s coaches show will be aired on WOLI 105.7 FM. The remaining coaches shows and the men’s basketball games, including postseason contests, will move to AM 950/1330 starting with this Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. game against Jacksonville. WORD’s 950 signal is heard throughout the Spartanburg area, while the 1330 signal is heard throughout Greenville. The basketball games and coaches shows will still be produced by Tiny T-Bone Media, LLC.
