No Experience Needed for 5-Week Foreign Language Classes

The World Languages Institute at the University of South Carolina Upstate offers classes in less commonly taught languages. USC Upstate’s World Languages Institute is offering instruction in the following areas:

  • A Taste of French
  • Beginning Chinese – Level 1
  • Beginning Chinese – Level 2
  • Beginning Biblical Hebrew – Level 1
  • Beginning Biblical Hebrew – Level 2
  • Beginning Russian – Level 1
  • Beginning Russian – Level 2
  • Beginning Spanish Conversation
  • Beginning Spanish for Nurses
  • Introduction to Irish Gaelic
  • Introductory German – Level 1
  • Introductory Hindi
  • Introductory Italian – Level 1
  • Introductory Italian – Level 2
  • Introductory Latin
  • Portuguese for Spanish Speakers

Classes begin the week of Feb. 17 and end the week of March 31. There will be no classes the week of March 10 due to Spring Break.

Registration deadline is Feb. 12. Classes are $65 per each and are open to the public. No foreign language experience is required.
