Upstate Baseball Opens Season with Five-Game Slate

The USC Upstate baseball team raises the curtain on the 2014 season Saturday at 1 p.m. when the Spartans host Ball State to begin a five-game, four-day stretch of baseball at Harley Park.

The Spartans will host George Mason Saturday at 5 p.m. and Dayton Sunday at 11 a.m. to complete weekend competition. George Mason and Morehead State will battle at Harley Park Sunday at 3 p.m. Upstate then welcomes SEC foe Kentucky to Harley Park Monday at 1 p.m. before putting the finishing touches on its opening slate of games by hosting The Citadel Tuesday at 4 p.m.
