Need Some Assistance? Don’t Forget About the SNAC Pantry

February 20, 2017 at 2:23 pm

In line with the academic mission and core values of the University of South Carolina Upstate, the Spartan Nutritional Assistance Campaign (SNAC) was developed. The mission of SNAC is to provide food, nutritional information, and other basic necessities to University of South Carolina Upstate students in need, as well as educate the campus population on poverty and hunger.

An immediate resource available to students is the SNAC Food Pantry. The SNAC Food Pantry exists to collect and distribute food and other non-perishable items to USC Upstate students who are in emergency need throughout the year. Any currently enrolled USC upstate student in emergency need can access the pantry. SNAC is a no questions asked pantry and we ask that students who are struggling financially only take what they need.

There is a SNAC Food Pantry located on both the Spartanburg and Greenville Campus.
