Shoestring Players Hold Free Preview Performance Of “Almost Maine,” June 30

Excited to be heading off to the International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston, England, eight USC Upstate theater students and two theatre technicians plan to give a free preview performance of Almost, Maine, the John Cariani production they will perform abroad.

Alex Timonov Publishes Two Articles in Mathematics Journals

Imaging from coupled physics has become of increasing interest to the applied mathematics community. Timonov, associate professor of mathematics, is a pioneer in this area in collaborative efforts with the Univ. of Central Florida, UNC at Charlotte, University of Toronto (Canada) and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (Stockholm, Sweden).
