Economic impact figures released on Jan. 12 by Darla Moore School economists Joey Von Nessen and Doug Woodward reveal that the university system and its alumni support nearly 53,000 jobs, or about 1 of every 37 jobs in the state.

USC Upstate Children’s Theatre Group Changes Meeting Time, Announces Spring Play

The Thursday Afternoon Acting Group (TAAG), an after school theatre program for children ages eight to 18, will meet from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., and will prepare to perform Tom Sawyer on May 4 and 5.

Rising high school seniors in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties, with an interest in the real world applications of mathematics, statistics, physics, business and manufacturing improvement processes, are invited to apply to the USC Upstate/BMW Manufacturing Academic Outreach Camp, to be held June 11 – 15 and June 18 – 22, 2012.
