Five Selected to Participate in USC Academic Leadership Fellows

May 7, 2018 at 9:42 am

Five USC Upstate faculty members recently were named USC Academic Leadership Fellows.

The 2018-19 Fellows are: Dr. Lynette Gibson, Dr. Samantha Hauptman, Dr. Sarah Hunt-Barron, Dr. Celena Kusch and Dr. Holly Pae.

The ALF Leadership program is a professional development opportunity open to faculty and professional staff.  The fellowship program is a two-year commitment. In year one, four one-and-a-half day sessions will be held at USC locations around the state. These sessions include case studies, panel discussions, presentations, and group work. Year two will be dedicated to the completion of an approved professional development plan under the direction of a system mentor and provide opportunity to shadow successful leaders. The program is of no cost to selected participants.

Thank you to all that applied to participate in this program, as it made selecting our list of fellows a very difficult task. More professional development opportunities are in the works, so please stay tuned.
