Jane Nodine, Mark Flowers Selected S.C. Arts Commission Artist Fellows

The University of South Carolina Upstate is excited to announce that Jane Allen Nodine and Mark Flowers have been recognized by the South Carolina Arts Commission’s Commission’s 50th Anniversary Artist Fellowship Program.

Fellows are among the most artistically accomplished artists in the state. Nodine, a two time Fellow and Flowers have been selected to exhibit at several shows throughout the state as part of the S.C. Arts Commission’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Flowers work is on display at Claflin University’s Arthur Rose Museum in Orangeburg through Oct. 27, 2017.

Flowers and Nodine both have work on exhibit at the Anderson Arts Center in Anderson through Oct. 27, 2017.

Nodine’s work will also be showcased at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia opening September 14th and Clemson University’s Lee Gallery from Oct. 1 – Nov. 1, 2017 and as part of a Retrospective Exhibition, and she will participate in a panel discussion October 19th at 6:00 PM.  May 10 – June 24, 2018 at 701 Center for Contemporary Art in Columbia.
