An informational meeting for students interested in joining the Model United Nations Team will be held at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 in Media 138.

Model United Nations is a simulation of the actual UN. Students prepare to represent a county in a variety of specialized committees with predefined issues. Students will do research, draft position papers, draft resolutions, and speeches, and learn a lot about the international negotiation process. Last year, we had students from the social sciences, humanities, and physical sciences who participated.
