On April 7, 2018, the Spartan Rec Center is partnering up with the Spartanburg Humane Society for the “Race for Rescues!”

Registration/ Check In will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the race will start at 11 a.m.

Participants may choose the 5K Run or one-mile walk. This event is FREE to students, Faculty, and staff. Community members will pay $10 to participate. Register now.

Pets are welcomed, and monetary donations will accepted for the Spartanburg Humane Society. Kitten formula, Karo Syrup, rice, tube socks, heating pads, pet baby bottles, dawn dish detergent and kitten dry, and canned food will also be accepted and donated to the Spartanburg Humane Society. Gift cards to Petsmart, Walmart, and Target are also appreciated.
