New Orleans, La. – The USC Upstate women’s track and field team was honored by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) as the organization announced its 2015-16 All-Academic Teams recently.

Upstate was recognized for the second time in school history after posting a team GPA of 3.13. The Spartan women’s program was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team following the 2012-13 season.

Teams must have a 3.0 GPA or better in order to be considered. In total, there were 122 men’s teams and 220 women’s teams who received recognition.
