The USC Upstate Honors Program sponsored a weekend in Atlanta for a group of honors students.  Angelica Figueroa, James Hadley, LaPorsha Smalls and Samantha Sworden visited The Georgia Aquarium, where they petted sting-rays, the Coca-Cola Museum, where they tasted Coke beverages from around the world, and CNN headquarters, where they took a studio tour. To top off the weekend, the students dined at the famous Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant.

The Honors Program is dedicated to providing its students with a diversified, enriching, and challenging educational experience, and will sponsor several similar field trips in the future.
