USC Upstate to Host “Legal Decisions Facing Entrepreneurs: IP (intellectual property) Trademarks, and Service Marks”

Spartanburg, S.C. –  The GreenHouse Business Incubator at USC Upstate’s Johnson College of Business and Economics will host G. Hubbard Smalls for a seminar entitled, “Legal Decisions Facing Entrepreneurs: IP (intellectual property) Trademarks, and Service Marks.” The lecture will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 12:10 to 1 p.m. in Room 150.

Smalls is currently associate professor of law and accounting at USC Upstate and is a former dean and tenured professor of accounting for the Tyrone Adam Burroughs School of Business and Economics at Benedict College in Columbia. He has more than 20 years of extensive corporate and higher education experience with emphasis in the areas of business and commercial law, accounting, and taxation.
