The University of South Carolina Upstate is pleased to announce its participation in the 19^th annual Artisphere presented by TD Bank, a premier arts festival taking place May 12-14 in Greenville. USC Upstate will provide a vibrant and engaging space where children and families can express their own inner artists through various projects.

Located on the corner of Main and Augusta Streets, USC Upstate’s 2,000-square-foot tent will feature art education and psychology students and faculty who will guide children as they work on masterpieces of their own. Visitors can also learn more about the university’s more than 50 majors, with a focus on graphic design, art education, and psychology during the festival.

“USC Upstate is thrilled to be a part of Artisphere, showcasing the talents and creativity of our students,” said USC Upstate Chancellor Bennie L. Harris, Ph.D. “We invite families and children to visit our exhibit and express themselves through various projects while learning about our academic programs.”

The USC Upstate tent will share space with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and visitors can look for the large banners on the sides of the tent to locate it. The university’s beloved mascot, Sparty, will also make appearances throughout the weekend.
